Plaça do Império

The spectacular dancing fountain can be found opposite the Saint María de Belém Royal Monastery, and has a basin diameter of 26 m.

The images show a number of the water and light effect combinations that the fountain offered for the Portuguese World Exhibition. The installation comes with 448 multi-effect nozzles with a water flow of 640 L per second and a 365 hp pump.
